Shipping Methods

Artlote cooperates with the main transport agencies in the market (UPS, Seur, Correos, Correos Express, TNT, Envialia, Zeleris, Tipsa, GLS, CTT, ASM, FedEx, DHL, InPost), having at your disposal more than 300 carriers, making international and national shipments.

In this way we achieve that our customers can ship  their items with full guarantee and security, at an economic price.

All the courier companies have a wide variety of services, adapted to the needs of the client at all times.

Courier Shipping can be used for local shipments. The item is hand-delivered via a messanger service. Live tracking is not usually available with this method of shipping. 

Parcel Shipping whereby lighter and smaller boxed items are shipped by standard mail carriers, with shipping label and live tracking available.

Please Note:

  • Item must be signed for on delivery. 
  • It can be difficult to schedule a delivery with a parcel carrier, but we recommend that you sign-up with carrier’s delivery manager to receive live updates. 
  • Some carriers can expedite delivery for an additional cost. 

In-Home Delivery is usually used for larger items delivered  by commercial truck.

It Includes:

  • Item collection, packing and shipping plus unpacking, inspection and removal of packaging materials.
  • Placement in the room of your choice.
  • Carrier contact 24 to 48 hours prior to delivery.

Please Note:

  • Item must be signed for on delivery.
  • Please ensure that the item will fit through any doors, hallways, stairwells, or elevators.
  • Live tracking is not available by this delivery method. 
  • Surcharges may apply to deliveries involving stairwells or difficult-to-access locations.
  • If the item is disassembled on pick-up, the carrier is not responsible to assembly upon delivery
  • The carrier will not perform plumbing or electrical installation.

Front Door Freight is used, typically, for international shipments or fragile items. Items are custom-crated for protection and safety in transit. Once crated, the item is transferred to a carrier company and shipped in one of the following ways:

  • Sea Freight: Transported overseas in a shipping containers. Once arrived in the country of destination, the crated item is transferred to a carrier company and you will be given a tracking number and link. 
  • Air Freight: Transported by shipping carrier plane. You will be given a tracking number and link. 

In each case delivery is not scheduled and the crated item will be placed by your front door.

It Includes:

  • Collection, packing and transportation of item.
  • Delivery to an outside area of your house or building.
  • Delivery to the inside of a building lobby if safe to do so and size permits.

Important Notes:

  • Item must be signed for on delivery. 
  • Unpacking, inspection, assembly or installation are not included. 
  • During Handling time a live tracking will not be available.
  • Please ensure that the item will fit through any doors, hallways, stairwells, or elevators.
  • To request a scheduled delivery you must contact the carrier directly.
  • For an additional cost, Front Door Freight may be expedited on request.

  • Handling, which includes preparing of the item for shipping, packing and disassembly, may take up to 10 days. This is not included in the estimated shipping times detailed above.
